Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Superintendent to join our Commercial Electrical team. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects valley wide from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Field Superintendent will be responsible for managing a team of Commercial Foremen, coordinating with clients, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee construction site operations, ensuring compliance with project schedules, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Supervise and direct a team of Commercial Foremen, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with Project Management to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents.
- Utilize project scheduling software to manage project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of construction activities, including site documentation, project reports, and employee records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes.
- Develop and implement project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Analyze and address project risks, including identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all personnel are adequately trained to perform their duties safely.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction site management and supervision.
- Experience with construction project scheduling.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and experience with construction safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents.
- Experience negotiating with subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
