Job Summary:
As an Entry-Level Calibration Technician, you will work closely with our experienced calibration team to learn and develop the skills necessary for calibrating and maintaining various equipment and instruments. This role will provide you with hands-on training and valuable industry knowledge to prepare you for a successful career in the field of calibration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior calibration technicians in the calibration and adjustment of a wide range of equipment and instruments according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Learn to perform routine calibration and troubleshooting tasks on various types of calibration equipment.
- Participate in calibration inspections and assist in documenting calibration processes and results accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of calibration tasks.
- Attend on job training sessions to enhance knowledge of calibration techniques and industry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the calibration laboratory and equipment.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mathematical concepts and technical principles is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry standards.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Prior experience in a technical or laboratory setting is a plus, but not required.
- Able to lift 40 lbs
