The Visiting Nurse Association of Central Pennsylvania, has a Part-time or PRN opportunity for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, treat and assist in the prevention of communication and swallowing disorders for our patients in their place of residence. Working with cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders, which may occur after a stroke, traumatic brain injury, illness, surgery, injury or dementia.
As part of our delivery care team, we are focused on positive patient outcomes, and the human factor – knowing each patient’s care is unique. Responsibilities include: initial assessment, coordination of an individualized treatment plan, working with the delivery care team to promote a continuum of care and recording notes/information in the health information system.
Current SLP and driver's license required. We offer excellent compensation.
