Job Description:
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting with cash management, inventory control, ordering supplies, scheduling personnel, maintaining a clean and orderly store, as well as other duties as assigned by General Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
·Assist General Manager with daily store operations.
·Ordering supplies.
·Maintaining store cleanliness.
·Assisting with payroll.
·Coordinating with vendors for payment of daily expenses.
·Maintaining positive relationships with vendors and customers.
·Coordinating supplies orders with General Manager.
·Performing inventory counts on a regular basis.
·Preparing weekly financial reports on sales performance.
·Preparing weekly financial reports on expenses performance.
·Preparing weekly inventories reports on sales performance.
·Preparing weekly inventories reports on expenses performance.
·Maintaining cash control procedures and controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.
·Ensuring that all applicable state and federal laws are met in the administration of the business by employees and outside parties (i.e., OSHA, State Departments of Transportation (“DOT”), Food & Drug Administration (“FDA”), etc.).
·Performing other duties as assigned by General Manager or supervisor(s).
Skills:
·Excellent customer service skills are a must. Candidates must be able to provide excellent customer service both verbally & written. This position requires excellent customer service skills & writing skills to effectively communicate with customers & co-workers in a positive manner & to maintain positive relationships with co-workers & customers both verbal & written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
