Registered Behavior Technician (full time / part time)
What We Require:
- Must currently obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (preferred)
What Experience is Preferred:
Preference will be given to candidates that currently hold a Bachelor’s degree. Degrees held in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields (e.g., Psychology, Education, Childhood Development, Occupational/Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, etc.) are a plus.
Preferred candidates should enjoy and have experience working with children, previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, and experience in the field of ABA.

What We Do:
Our team provides a 1:1 learning environment with our goal being to establish skills that will prepare children to transition back into their desired less-restrictive learning environments. Following the principles of behavior analysis, we use evidence-based research and data to support our clients and help them reach their goals. To ensure high quality therapy and treatment fidelity, this position will require frequent supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Duties will include:
- Providing 1:1 behavior analytic therapy directly with a client
- Consistently communicating in a professional manner with peers, clients, and clients’ families
- Following and implementing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Receiving feedback positively and implementing changes in a timely manner
- Actively engaging in play and reinforcement with client
- Assisting the team with assessments of client’s skill progression
- Collecting data in a highly accurate and timely manner
- Assisting in the creation of instructional and group materials
- Participating in team meetings and team bonding activities to boost team morale and promote a positive work environment
Physical Demands:
This position involves a lot of energy and at times can be physically demanding.
Due to the 1:1 nature of the position, you will be in charge of the client’s safety and programming throughout the session. To be the most successful in this position, staff need to promote a high-energy, fun, and empathetic learning environment for their clients that combines learning with play.
While performing the duties of this job, employees must be able to:
- Sit and provide therapy on the floor
- Stand for extended durations of time
- Actively engaging in play and reinforcement with client
- Walk briskly and/or jog
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
