Reports To: Director of Purchasing
Scope: Primary responsibility is to assist the Director of Purchasing with the day-to-day implementation of purchasing tasks and to assure that these tasks are successfully completed.
Responsibilities:
• Duties include the following:
o Preparing, routing, and tracking of the New Item Setup Forms for Reed-Lane purchased components.
o As directed, preparing, maintaining, updating, scanning, and filing of component specifications for new and existing Reed-Lane purchased components.
o Provide notification to Incoming Material inspection on new or revised component specifications.
o Processing of new vendor setup forms as needed.
o Tracking Hold Stock Status Reports for Reed-Lane purchased materials and assisting Buyer/Planner(s) with sending samples to suppliers and completing Material Requisitions for materials to be returned to suppliers.
o Maintaining a log of new customer-supplied artwork received.
o Downloading of customer-supplied artwork files; routing of these files internally for review and approvals.
o as directed, issuing purchase orders to suppliers.
o Responsible for registering purchasing staff for trade shows and conferences.
o Perform other departmental duties as required.

• Must have a good command of the English Language, both written and verbal.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree and/or 1-2 years of related experience
Physical Demands:
• The person in this position is required to move about inside the office to file cabinets, office machinery.
• This person must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time.
• This person must be able to lift and transport boxes up to 25 pounds.
Training: New hires or transfers into this position shall be given a three-month trial orientation period in order to become proficient. Proficiency shall be evaluated by the area manager or trainer and become part of the employee’s training record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,414.00 - $49,833.00 per year
