Mental Health Front Office Administration / Hiring Immediately
Comprehensive Health Services a multidisciplinary mental health clinic, is looking for a strong administrator to help manage our growing Chelmsford and Lowell psychiatric practice. You will provide an essential interface between our clients and our services, as well as support the office and clinicians. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, be well organized, learn quickly, be reliable, and be a contributing member of the team. Experience in a mental health setting preferred. Familiarity with psych medication a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to live incoming calls, take comprehensive messages, and route them as appropriate.
- Responds to voicemails and messages.
- Interacts, supports, and communicates professionally with a wide range of administrators, clinicians, clients, business associates, and other stakeholders.
- Must be able to work and make decisions independently and exercise discretion and good judgment in areas of responsibility.
- Must display the ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing, in a busy and diverse mental health setting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and stay on message and task.
- Excellent customer service focus.
- Proficiency with technology related to a medical office, including EMR (will train).
- Communicates messages of immediate concern and safety without delay to appropriate clinical and administrative staff as per clinic policy.
- Assumes responsibility for all facets of front desk operations, including greeting and registering patients, either in person or on the phone, answering phones,
- Scheduling appointments, retrieving faxes, collecting co-pays and balances, and general clerical and other duties as assigned.
- Creates and updates records and databases to ensure the accuracy and validity of the information.
- Reviews, processes, and forwards authorizations for the release of records and other administrative requests for patients, referring offices, and other medical facilities, attorneys, and insurance companies in accordance with practice guidelines.
- Adheres to all state and federal privacy and security regulations and to all policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.
