Overview: As a Lead Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and servicing of swimming pools and related equipment. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a pool service team.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior technicians.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
- Pool Maintenance and Servicing:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
- Conduct water quality testing and adjust chemical levels as necessary.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with clients to understand their pool service needs and concerns.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to maintain optimal pool conditions.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, inspections, and repairs.
- Prepare service reports and documentation for clients and internal records.
- Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding service status and recommendations.
- Equipment and Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of supplies and parts needed for pool maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pool maintenance and repair, with proven leadership skills.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, and water chemistry.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driving License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
