Summary:
The Lead Teacher, under the direction of the site supervisor, assists in overseeing and directing the planning, organizing, and implementation of education services for children, in addition to classroom teacher and duties which include developing and implementing individual educational plans for children. The Lead Teacher’s role is unique, and the relationships he/she builds with families are the most powerful tool they have to support them and make a difference in their lives. This is a benefit eligible position.
Qualifications:
Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; OR course work in Early Childhood Development with
focus on infants and toddlers.
- Willing to obtain an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education within 3 years of hire date.
- At least one year of experience working with young children and families.
- One or more years of experience in providing work direction to staff is preferred.
- Must maintain a commitment to keep current in the profession.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
