Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy, collaborating with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure optimal efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain processes that enhance operational efficiency
- Manage inventory control procedures to maximize inventory turnover
- Procure materials, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain good supplier relationships
- Utilize MRP systems to forecast demand and create purchase orders
- Implement Six Sigma and lean methodologies to improve supply chain processes
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the supply chain
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance
- Oversee fabrication processes to ensure timely production schedules
- Implement Kaizen principles for continuous improvement in supply chain operations
- Utilize Tableau or similar tools for data analysis and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 10+ years minimum experience in a Supply Chain Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement, and logistics processes
- Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and lean principles
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques and process improvement strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
