- Managing incoming customer support tickets, answering technical questions, troubleshooting basic problems, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Documenting case resolutions and curating IT knowledgebase, office how-to articles, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining, supporting, and delivering training on end-user (SaaS) software, computer hardware, audio-video, and general office equipment.
- Generally supporting office and facilities-related activities, including maintaining equipment, managing inventory, ordering supplies, coordinating with service providers, and liaising with building management.
- Assisting with onboarding new employees, including technology training and office orientation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assisting the IT operations team with enterprise systems administration and new technology implementations.
- Assisting the web development team with usability assessments, quality assurance, data entry, and general website support. Participating in product launch early-life-support activities to ensure a smooth service transition.
- Providing technical and logistical support for webcasts, virtual conferences, online meetings, and other distance-based programs; editing, posting, and maintaining recording archives.
- Providing technical and logistical support for meetings, conferences, and other in-person events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional customer service skills and teamwork.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems and generally comfortable with cloud software.
- Experience with customer support, case management, and knowledgebase curation is essential; familiarity with the Salesforce Service Console is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts.
- Solid data entry skills with high attention to detail.

- A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Work Locale: The hybrid position is based in the Washington, DC, area and requires an in-office day on Wednesdays.
- Reports To: The position reports directly to the CIO.
- Manages/Supervises: None.
- Authority to Work in the US: The individual must be legally eligible to work in the US. ASPPH participates in E-Verify to confirm eligibility.
- Travel Requirements: The position may involve occasional domestic and local travel related to meeting support.
- Compensation: The position’s compensation level ranges between $55,000 and $60,000, based on industry salary surveys and the individual’s experience. ASPPH offers a generous benefits package.
