Description:
As a construction material handler, you will process incoming and outgoing commercial electrical wholesale material. The ideal candidate will have recent work experience from a commercial electrical wholesale supplier. The work schedule for the material handler is Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities

Receive, store and distribute electrical construction materials, tools, equipment, and products

Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments

Perform physical labor to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

Perform inventory counts and replenishment stock

Deliver or retrieve materials as needed using company vehicles

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Ensure department compliance is being practiced within safety regulations and guidelines

Other duties and responsibilities assigned as needed to support the operations of the department
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience within a construction environment or electrical wholesale supplier

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50lbs) regularly during the shift

Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving report consisting of fewer than two points on a driving record

Pass a pre-employment drug test

This position requires English literacy with the use of mobile phones, email and MS Office applications
