This is a vital role to the success of one of our Houston office's and the success of our company overall. Job responsibilities for a Project Administrator:
- Vendor Management: Maintain vendor contacts and the preferred purchasing database, coordinating with the estimating and operational teams.
- Pricing Database Management: Regularly update and upload current vendor pricing to the estimating software database.
- Proposal Creation: Develop proposals based on the design outputs from the estimating team.
- Estimating Support: Complete bid proposal forms accurately and promptly. Track and manage the bid log, ensuring all bids are recorded and monitored. Distribute project plans, specifications, and general documents to relevant parties.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and summaries for the estimating team and management. Maintain organized records of all estimating activities and correspondence.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving estimating processes and tools. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures or software updates.
How to Be Successful as a Project Administrator:
- Have a high school diploma, some college or equivalent training and / or work experience is preferable
- Have 2+ years of project administrative experience, Audio Visual experience is preferrable
- Have strong knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn other software as needed
- Current, valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
