Job Summary:
Account Manager (Sales & Marketing, Semiconductor) will be responsible for expanding sales of semiconductor manufacturing equipment that is manufactured and sold by USHIO in the North American group. Developing long-term relationships with assigned customers by connecting with key business executives will also be needed because the semiconductor industry generally has long investment cycles. The Account Manager (Sales & Marketing) will require frequent communication between customers and USHIO Inc. headquarters in Japan to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions pursuant to the customer requirements for long-term success. The successful applicant will have an interest in manufacturing and the semiconductor industry, curiosity and research skills even in unfamiliar areas, and the ability to execute projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales and marketing activities in accordance with sales strategy plan for the North American Region.
- Communicate with USHIO Japan and customers.
- Support all sales activities of USHIO group.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any matters specific to other sales.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationship.
- Develop trusted advisor relationship with key customers.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales terms to ensure growth attainment.
- Assist with high severity request or issue escalation as needed.
- Make base contract; contract draft discussion with attorney. Contract negotiation including price and delivery schedule with assigned customers.
- Communicate and collaborate with FSE to solve any troubles with customers.
- Monthly reporting.
- Make meeting memo and A/R after every meetings and conferences.
- Make and conduct action plan.
- Price decision within budget.
Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Domestic travel at least 30% of working time and every 3 months international travel
- Interest in Semiconductor, manufacturing industry
- Reading and understanding of equipment drawing
- Listening, Negotiation, and Presentation skills preferred
- In Depth knowledge of photo lithography process used in semiconductor manufacturing
- Ability to work irregular hours and be on-call for extended periods of time
- Bilingual English/Japanese a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
