Must be experienced and knowledgeable about H-2A program rules and regulations. You must be organized and able to make estimated projections of future business needs revolving around H-2A labor needs. It is vital to have interpersonal skills and able to communicate well and work in a team environment.

Job Description: Assist with ensuring that the administrative responsibilities of our H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Program requirements are properly followed and executed. Must be experienced and knowledgeable about H-2A program rules and regulations. You must be organized and able to make estimated projections of future business needs revolving around H-2A labor needs. It is vital to have interpersonal skills and able to communicate well and work in a team environment.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Support the administration of the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Workers program.
- Ensure compliance with US Department of Labor rules, regulations and procedures for the H-2A program.
- Manage and oversee transportation requirements of the program e.g. to/from job site, weekly shopping trips.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State and County regulations and rules.
- Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with DOL, EDD, DES, County agencies, etc.
- Manage Recruitment strategies of the program e.g. applicant log, referrals, etc.
- Responsible for submitting recruitment reports to the DOL in a timely manner.
- Interview, select and hire guest workers for contracts based on business needs.
- Responsible for the HRMS records for all H-2A employees
- Assist with legal compliance issues involved in obtaining work visas.
- Coordinate Consulate appointments with facilitators in Mexico.
- Conduct and continually refine New H-2A Employee materials and orientations.
- Support HR team with training members of management regarding H-2A program requirements.
- Respond to H-2A employee issues regarding wages, housing, transportation, etc.
- Conduct various administrative and record keeping activities, including three-fourths guarantee requirement and coordination of inbound/outbound travel reimbursements.
- Coordinate end of season H-2A worker performance evaluations.
- Attend seminars and Industry association meetings and seminars on Immigration and Guest worker topics.
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least five years of proven experience in Human Resources with H-2A Programs.
- Solid knowledge of Human Resources and H-2A Program requirements.
- Conscientious, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks timely and accurately a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skill.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company including Management, Supervisors, Forepersons and employees.
- Experience working with individuals across different geographies and cultures.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Proficiency with Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR/Payroll systems.
- Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and identify solutions.
- Ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
- Long-term travel required up to 4 weeks to Yuma, Arizona during winter season other travel as designated.
- Associates Degree and a minimum of five years related work experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
