Residential and high-end carpet contractor is searching for a warm and welcoming, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to oversee the front desk and provide general administrative support. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of customer service experience and at least 1+ year as a front desk receptionist. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a sense of urgency, and adaptability are essential for success. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) are required.
Candidates with experience in luxury industries or dealing with HNW clientele are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Answering the phone lines and transferring calls to the appropriate department and representatives.
- Assist clients that come to the office for rug drop offs/ pickups or any need. The warehouse will handle trucks and vendors.
- Call office staff for client needs.
- Maintain reception area and refill snacks once a day. Replenish coffee, utensils, cups as needed.
- Play music on the Sonos app.
- Fulfill workers’ compensation requests as they arise.
- Check UPS for reference information.
- Log into budget check everything ordered.
- Order and maintain inventory for office supplies and restroom hygienic needs.
- Any ad hoc assignments management may need.
Qualifications:
- High-volume calls and appropriate phone etiquette
- Front-desk hospitality
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
- Ability to record data with high levels of accuracy
- A positive, team-player mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
