Are you a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with IV certification and a passion for patient care? Infusion for Health is seeking an experienced LVN to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art infusion center in Upland, CA. If you have at least one year of LVN experience and prior IV infusion experience, we want to hear from you!

Our Upland center is equipped with individual private rooms to ensure our patients receive care in the most comfortable setting possible.

Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours

Hourly Pay Range: $30 - $36 (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and care for patients respectfully and efficiently.

Administer prescribed medications and provide general nursing care.

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor vital signs.

Provide patient education tailored to the infusion/injection they are receiving.

Observe and report patient conditions and reactions to medications.

Ensure accurate and real-time documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Maintain timely patient care flow and respond to emergencies confidently.

Adhere to OSHA and HIPPA guidelines, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

Current, unrestricted LVN license in California.

Intravenous (IV) Certification.
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
-
Minimum of one year of post-graduate LVN experience.

At least one year of recent infusion experience.
Skills and Abilities:

Excellent assessment and monitoring skills, with the ability to quickly identify medication reactions.

Proficient in intravenous catheter placement and monitoring for IV site complications.

Skilled in drawing labs using aseptic techniques and performing subcutaneous injections.

Knowledge of infection control precautions and sterile techniques.

Strong communication skills and the ability to provide age-appropriate education to patients of all ages.

Effective interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Proficient with computer systems, including word processing, internet usage, email, and EMR systems.
