About the Hession Foundation:
Hession Foundation is a 501c3 focused on raising awareness and donating funds to help support community initiatives, such as increasing alcohol and substance abuse awareness and education, in the local areas where our SNOW Partner companies do business.
How the Executive Director works with the Team:
The Executive Director is responsible for fundraising efforts to secure the financial resources needed to advance the Foundation’s work. The Director works closely with the Board and SNOW Partner businesses to execute and promote such fundraising efforts.
Team Member Responsibilities:
Fundraising
- Plan and execute established fundraising events, and develop new fundraising event opportunities
- Solicit and obtain donors through fundraising programs & events
- Respond to all donation and grant requests made of the Foundation, and facilitate Board of Directors approval to award grants that align with the Foundation’s mission.
- Develop marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Communicate with donors and donor recipients
- Maintain and develop positive relationships
Coordination
- Organize, present and maintain requests for donations
- Maintain records of donor information
- Prepare and present quarterly fundraising report and material for the Board
- Create and maintain working relationships with SNOW Partner businesses where the Foundation does work
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors for events and fundraising activities
- Coordinate the payments of grants, invoices, and expenses with the staff accountant
Team Member Qualifications:
- Proven experience executing small and large scale fundraising events/activities.
- Self motivated and self-directed.
- Experience developing relationships and leveraging those to achieve funding goals
- Excellent communication skills.
- Service oriented.
- Ability to travel to event locations.
- Experience working independently.
- Must be highly organized and have an attention to detail
- Experience working for a non-profit in a similar position is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
