A Sr Installation Services Technician is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment. This role involves leading installation process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and providing technical support and training. The technician must have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Additionally, they ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Job Description
- Traveling to businesses for installation service calls
- Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions
- Documenting all tasks performed at each service appointment
- Install TraXtion equipment using power tools
- Providing written and verbal instructions to clients on how to use and maintain the TraXtion equipment.
- Testing functionality and performance following system installations
- Diagnose issues, collaborating with support and engineering, to come up with solutions to repair issues
- Establishes initial service by understanding system requirements, ordering and staging components, coordinating installation, and testing functionality and performance
- Ensure that installation projects are executed according to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of installations, create tool requirements for all versions of our products.
- Ensure that all installations adhere to safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement quality assurance processes to guarantee that installations meet or exceed established standards.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of staff, equipment, and materials.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications
- High-school diploma required
- Minimum of three years of experience installing and troubleshooting equipment systems
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
- Professional written and oral communicator
- Skilled at nurturing client relationships
- Equipment, part, and material maintenance
- Committed to preserving client and business confidentiality
- Ability to work independently without much supervision
- Quality oriented and ability to effectively manage time
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which include crouching, stooping, bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Must be able to travel up 80%
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
