We are looking for a passionate Human Resources Director to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to our goal of making a difference.
As a senior leader in our organization, the Human Resources Director is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources and people development. They will help The Dorm through talent investment by leading strategic employee recruitment and planning, policy development and implementation, while helping enhance the organization’s culture.

What You Will Do:
Collaborates with senior leadership to align HR strategy with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Leads the talent acquisition and onboarding strategy to ensure that we attract and retain top talent. This includes identifying staffing and recruiting needs; developing best practices for hiring and talent management; developing a pipeline for future talent; and developing tools to assist with candidate evaluation and selection.
Passionate for developing and implementing strategic plans focused on staff development to provide a path of growth for members and team building to enhance workplace culture.
Responsible for keeping the organization’s Employee Handbook and HR policies as outlined in the P&P manual up to date.
Partners on the organization's DEIB strategy including providing leadership and vision to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment, managing regular trainings with outside consultants and spearheading a recruitment strategy to continue to diversify our community.
Leads the mid-year and year-end review processes, and ensures that 30, 60, 90 & 120 day reviews are completed in a timely manner. This includes training staff on the review process, and ensuring that all performance reviews are comprehensive.
Administers and oversees human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation; benefits; leaves of absence; disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; and recognition.
Monitors and ensures the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
Ensures that all areas of HR are CARF and OMH compliant
Fosters community and a sense of connectedness among employees at different locations
Models the behaviors that align with The Dorm’s vision.

What You Need To Qualify:
Masters degree preferred.
7-10 years of HR experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
SHRM member.
Expert knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and performance management.
Excellent writing and collaboration skills.
Ability to be flexible and open-minded.
Highly organized, process-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and passionate in helping others.
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
