What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications):

High School graduate or equivalent required
-
Associate of Arts Degree or technical/vocational school diploma preferred
-
Clerical experience and strong computer skills
-
Experience in an inpatient or outpatient medical setting preferred
How you will make a difference (Job Overview):
Provides support to the Finance Department by ensuring accurate and prompt client entry and tracking in the electronic medical record (EMR). Work is performed under general supervision but functions independently. Various computerized and non-computerized reports are prepared regularly. Accuracy and timeliness are essential as they may affect legal and economic liability to the program. Will have regular interaction with all staff members, physicians, outside agencies and the public.
Division/Program Overview:
The Center Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Manager of Finance Operations, this role involves the preparation of monthly computerized statistical data reports. Additionally, it includes assigning benefit assignments for Crisis Facility Treatment and Community Services clients during intake, checking Medi-Cal eligibility, and managing client movements within the electronic medical record (EMR) from program to program or site to site. The position also handles the admission and discharge of Crisis Facility Treatment and Community Services clients, maintaining and updating records in both SBHG's EMR and the County system
