**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and arranging for transportation
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Inspect goods upon receipt for damages or discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory and orders
- Assist with inventory management tasks including order picking and cycle counting
**Skills:**
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems and MRP software
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution center procedures, and order fulfillment
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in shipping documentation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
- Must be able to read and write in English. Bilingual is a plus
