Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing cross-channel social media campaigns, including giveaways, takeovers, live broadcasts, and storytelling.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Lew’s, Strike King, Quantum, and Zebco social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), including content scheduling, monitoring, proactive engagement, and data analysis using tools like Sprout Social and Google Analytics.
- Support influencer management by setting up promoted posts, tracking performance metrics through Angler Track, sourcing new content creators, and collaborating on creative assets with internal teams.
- Conduct proactive research for brand initiatives, including industry and competitor analysis, social media listening, and engagement with relevant accounts.
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing messages according to brand marketing content calendars.
- Generate innovative marketing ideas for cross-platform campaigns, including video and graphic content creation and integration marketing strategies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for content creation purposes and comfortable with giving presentations and public speaking engagements.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience managing Social Media platforms & elements for an e-commerce brand or company entity.
- Experience with social media management tools; Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-departmentally.
- Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging content.
- Proficiency in photography and video editing, including YouTube video trimming, and resizing images for digital channels.
- Experience with SEO, email marketing, blog content creation, and grassroots marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading abilities.
- Passion for the outdoors with knowledge of relevant industries (fishing industry and gear knowledge preferred).
- Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications skills.
Additional Requirements:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, when attending trade shows and other events, standing for up to 8 hours a day may be requires, along with moderate lifting, bending, pushing and/or pulling.
