Hours: 40 hours per week. Clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Thursday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Pay Rate: $36.54 to $38.46 per hour
Education: Master’s degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed as a LMFT, LCSW or LPCC with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required

As a Clinician for the older adult population, you will:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, assessments, crisis interventions, and case management
- Conduct initial phone screens and triages for new clients as needed
- Provide care coordination and assists with accessing entitlement programs and resources as needed
- Participate in the clinical delivery of the team’s psychosocial rehabilitation services, including developing individual service plans and coordinating community resources to maximize optimal health outcomes
- Be available for consultations and serve as a responder in crisis interventions
- May be required to go into the field to provide services when needed
Additional Qualification and Skills
- Strong clinical skills and one year of previous experience working with adults with severe emotional disturbance and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient or walk-in model is strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and have a can-do attitude
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP), which provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
