Position Summary
The echocardiographer is responsible for performing a variety of echocardiographic tests on patients in the clinic setting. This position requires a candidate who is knowledgeable with the principles and techniques of echocardiography. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, technicians, and patients. This position requires a candidate who has experience performing routine and routine procedure on a patient. The position requires the ability to perform routine procedures on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine echocardiograms on patients in the clinic setting
- Perform routine procedures on a patient including: end-tidal carbon dioxide level, pulmonary artery blood pressure, pulmonary arteryatriacardial pulse oximeter, etc.
- Record all results in medical record accurately and accurately
- Communicate effectively with physician regarding results, procedures and other information that may be needed for other physicians or other facilities.
- Perform routine procedure on a patient including: end-tidal carbon dioxide level, pulmonary artery blood pressure, pulmonary arteryatriacardial pulse oximeter, etc.
- Record all results in medical record accurately and accurately
- Communicate effectively with patient regarding results, procedures and other information that may be needed for other facilities.

- Provide direct care to patients as requested by their providers by obtaining information about patients’ health status; taking vital signs; diagnosing and treating illnesses; or providing non-invasive tests (EKGs).
- Assist providers with procedures by performing or directing them as required; preparing examination rooms; arranging supplies; taking X-rays; interpreting laboratory reports; preparing discharges; preparing records; scheduling follow-up care; completing forms; communicating with facility management regarding deficiencies or complications.
Education/Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular medicine or equivalent experience Preferred: ECG interpretation/catheterization experience Required: Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy Required: Knowledge of cardiac physiology Required: Knowledge of vascular anatomy Preferred: Experience using an EKG machine Preferred: Experience using an Arterial Blood Pressure Monitoring System (BPMS) Preferred: Experience using an Arterial Pulse Oximeter (Pulse Oximeter) Preferred: Experience using an Electrocardiogram (ECG) Machine Preferred: Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
