Move On, an employment agency is currently seeking an HR Manager (Restaurant) for a client located in Encino, CA area. This position is full-time and permanent.
Location: Encino, CA area, CONFIDENTIAL
Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 6:00pm
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (DoE) + benefits
Applicants must have at least 5 years of HR experience in the restaurant industry. You will be required to report to the office + visit store locations directly.
Job duties include:
- Create hiring plans for FoH and BoH staff
- Prepare job offers and employment contracts
- Calculate and process payroll considering overtime, holidays and evening shifts
- Plan attractive compensation and benefits packages to increase retention
- Manage payroll and keep updated records of payments
- Oversee employee attendance and working schedules including breaks, overtime and paid time off
- Schedule onboarding sessions and job-related trainings for all employees
- Track key recruiting metrics like turnover rates and source of hire
- Ensure restaurant staff complies with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of HR experience in restaurant industry
- Past experience with Asian Restaurants/Dining is a plus!
- Hands-on experience with recruiting for junior, senior, seasonal and part-time positions
- Good knowledge of regulations around flexible types of employment
- Familiarity with ATS, payroll software and resume databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
