Machine Learning Sales Engineer
Location: Flexible/Remote
Role Overview:
The Machine Learning Sales Engineer is a hybrid role combining technical sales, sales engineering, and business development. This role involves collaborating with North American sales teams, ML experts, and other specialists to drive technical services for Fortune 1,000 clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales and technical teams in client development.
- Work with executives and subject matter experts at Fortune 1,000 customers to identify use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, mathematicians, solutions engineers, and project leads.
- Define and execute account strategies with clients.
- Understand the business objectives of prospective clients and identify ML opportunities.
- Develop and present sales strategies and materials with sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct technical presentations, demos, and workshops.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and guide clients through implementation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor analysis.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a technical field or Business Administration.
- 4+ years of work experience, including 2+ in management consulting.
- Experience in machine learning, data science, big data analytics, and cloud computing.
- Deep business knowledge in one target industry (e.g., high tech, energy, telecom).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales in ML or AI.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
- Willingness to travel occasionally
