Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care is seeking a dedicated Individual Resiliency Trainer - New Journeys Clinician to join our team of compassionate and dedicated professionals. As an individual resiliency trainer, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapy and support to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
In this role you will:
- Individualized Care: Provide individual therapy to clients, focusing on the unique needs of those experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
- Continuous Learning: Connect with the New Journeys network to further your learning, engage in consults, and improve treatment based on the most current research
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to support clients in their journey toward resilience and recovery.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients. Collaborate with other professionals and leverage collective expertise.
- Trauma-Informed Interventions: Offer evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent therapeutic interventions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that respects the individuality of each client.
- Flexible Engagement: Meet clients in the office, community, and via telehealth options, providing flexibility and accessibility to enhance the therapeutic relationship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
- Experience or strong interest in working with individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for mental health and making a difference in the lives of others.
