Positive Recovery Centers is looking for an experienced facility operations to assist the upkeep of our Sober Living homes located within the Montrose area of Houston. Position Description:
Working in accordance with a safety first culture the maintenance hand will identify and resolve minor maintenance issues that arise inside our residents homes, corporate office and surrounding grounds.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts daily maintenance and repair and inspects facility to ensure everything is in the best working condition and cosmetically appropriate.
- Maintains all local and state required inspections for the facility.
- Implements & maintains a preventative maintenance plan.
- Practices cautionary prudence when making maintenance purchases
- Finds ways to reduce operational costs.
- Serves as Safety Officer for organization.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintains a system for after hour or weekend emergencies.
- Maintains the facilities vehicles.
- Maintains all facility operational permits (fire, alarm, etc) environment of care.
- Conducts all drills
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year experience in HVAC, plumbing carpentry and electrical.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Proficient using general computer skills.
- 1 year minimum working in a facility upkeep roll
- Ability to read and understand repair guides, assembly instructions, and safety guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
