Position Purpose & Job Duties:

As a clinician at Blossom Children's Center, you will be a valued member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to perform all duties of a BCBA and be accountable for the following:
- Lead regular training and support to direct care staff implementing treatment protocols in clinical based settings.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), functional analyses (FA), and design behavior intervention treatment plans for children.
- Conduct and report on skills-based assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.) and behavioral intervention progress, goals, and parent targets for ABA reauthorization services
- Create and supervise treatment plans.
- Progress reports as required by insurance plans and family requests.
- Provide oversight to cases, staff, and family to ensure all company policies are followed and that treatment is provided according to ethical and best standards of practice.
- Provide regular parent training to clients pertaining to independence and skill development.
- Comply with organization, state and federal regulations set forth to include professional development, safety training, confidentiality policies, as well as adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and task list for BCBAs.
- Work collaboratively with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, administrators.
- Always demonstrate a positive attitude and professional and ethical conduct.
- Participate in weekly BCBA supervision meetings, team and leadership meetings including companywide trainings as designated by supervisor and organization
- Collaborate with treatment team (director, parents, and other support network) to review case progress
- Provide training, supervision and support for clinicians and therapists, in all policies and procedures.
- Communicate with funding sources regarding client progress, reports, meetings, authorizations, etc.
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and Practicum students
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed and certified behavior analyst (i.e. LBA & BCBA), in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- At least 1-2 years experience supervising behavior technicians, developing programs, training families, and working on collaborative teams
- Dedicated and energetic individual with a genuine interest in improving the outcomes of children with autism and other challenges
- Must maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- No past criminal history
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading a team of professionals in a clinical environment
- Experience with early intervention with children with autism
- Certification and/or training in ESDM, DI or PRT
- A degree and license to practice clinical psychology
