At Houston Methodist, the Research Informatics Developer position is responsible for developing queries for clinical, translational, and outcomes research data, assessing biobanking interfaces, and building advanced analytics solutions. This position is responsible for leveraging Houston Methodist analytics toolsets for translational research, outcomes studies, precision medicine, and management for multiple concurrent research projects.

Facilitates the query scripts and application programs, and provide a timely response with the queried and analyzed results to the corresponding Principal Investigator and/or collaborator.

Collaborates in communicating research results for presentations, scientific publications, and/or project reports.

Uses i2b2 and other healthcare database management systems to provide and create data warehouse and data marts.
QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conducts annual reviews of HIPAA guidelines.

Conducts semi-annual review of Good Clinical Practices.

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Science degree in related field
WORK EXPERIENCE

Two years' experience in programming and database management
