Job Description
A. SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Under the direct supervision of the EA Manager, the Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day program operations of EA’s special projects including direct staff training, supervision, and
personnel actions; assist EA Manager with the following: budget development and implementation, contract
compliance, sustainability efforts including grant research and writing, opportunities for unit expansion and
partnerships.
Role and Responsibilities
1.EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING (40%):
a. Develops program protocols for new and existing EA special projects including but will not be limited
to: project orientation/registration materials, assessment tools for participants, and other program
related materials.
b. Develops and implements systems and procedures including but not limited to: participant eligibility
screening, invoicing, program intake, participant assessment, MIS submissions, on-the-job training,
employment verification, on-the-job training provision of supportive services, and agency billing.
c. Supervises case file reviews ensuring proper service delivery, case file documentation, and other
areas of record keeping in accordance with Federal, State, County, and AADAP policies and
procedures.
d. Develops and monitors the implementation of the EA special projects training budget, negotiates
with training providers on training fees and their payments.
