Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, maintaining, and retrieving data in an accurate and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Type in data collected directly from customers or other parties
- Organize files and collect data to be entered into the computer
- Use computerized data entry equipment and software to record, store, and analyze information
- Transcribe information into required electronic format
- File completed documents in appropriate locations
- Enter data into Excel spreadsheets or other systems as required
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Experience:
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
