This position of Monitor will help maintain completion of daily activities schedule in a smooth and timely manner. Will assist other staff as needed. This position will help with clerical demands in facility and assist in limited meal prep and/or service.
HIRING FOR MONDAY-SUNDAY:
MUST BE AVAILABILE ANY SHIFT ON WEEKEND 8AM-4PM, 4PM-12AM, & 12AM-8AM.
Monitors will be working in Mental Health and Licensed Residential Treatment Programs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of Immanuel House; and
- Identify and follow policies in reporting emergent situations.
- Light Housekeeping
- Weekly Quality Assurance
- Facilitate skill building groups for participants.
- Writing group notes
- Writing individual notes
- Complete all required shift documentation and shift report.
- Observing Medication Being Passed and Taken.
- Documenting Medication Being Passed and Taken.
- Perform medication reconciliation and maintain all medication in compliance with program medication policies.
- Maintains Visual Contact with Participants at all Times.
- Maintains Refrigerator Log and Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Transport participants with company vehicles.
- Able to be insured by company insurance.
- Maintaining vehicle log when transporting.
- Have schedule flexibility including weekends and work scheduled shifts based on shift availability form.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed in residential facilities.
- Occasional lifting of more than 30 pounds; and
- Sitting, standing, walking, reaching are performed in the normal course of the position.
- Must be able to navigate stairs many times a day.
- Must be able to do extensive charting and documentation.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & CLEARANCE:
1. Clearance on Background/DOJ Live scan result per contract requirements.
2. Negative reading from pre-employment TB and Drug Tests.
3. Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements.
4. Food Handlers Card.
5. CPR/First Aid Certification.
6. Registration by an accredited organization recognized by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) preferred.
