Join our dynamic team at The Lift Bar Medspa as a Medical Receptionist. As a vital member of our medspa support staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at our front desk. Your primary responsibilities will include patient service, medical scheduling, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using Aesthetic Record or similar software
- Manage patient check-ins and verify information
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care effectively
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with billing and processing
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Set up and turn over rooms for our providers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a medical office or dental practice is a plus
