Bluestone Real Estate Services invites applications for full-time Maintenance Technicians. Bluestone Real Estate is a leading property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service and enhancing the living experiences of our residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of our properties by performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing repair needs promptly and efficiently.
We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following Maintenance Positions:
Onsite Residential Maintenance Technician, Downtown Portland
- This position reports to a specific residential community in the Portland/Salem metro area on a daily basis.
- Conduct routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Assist with turnover and occupancy scheduling, diagnosing issues, and repairing faulty components.
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and landscaping tasks.
- Coordinate with external contractors, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure property compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, respond to emergencies, and perform other assigned duties.
- Perform testing, repair, and maintenance to hot tub/pool, if applicable.
Onsite HOA/Community Maintenance Technician
- This position reports to a specific Homeowner Association (HOA)/Condominium community in the Portland metro area on a daily basis.
- Perform regular inspections and repairs of common areas, facilities, equipment, and recreational areas. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or renovations.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and collaborate with management to address community concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Perform seasonal maintenance duties.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering supplies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in property management maintenance.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa, mechanical systems.
- Experience repairing home appliances is a plus.
- Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Ability to participate in On-Call rotation, if applicable.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
- A valid driver’s license and active insurance. Reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
