CI Engineering Manager
JOB DUTIES: Lead the site’s continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate non-value-added activities while improving operational excellence. Ensure existing processes maintain a high level of performance while continuously reviewing and refining those processes. Establish a culture of operational excellence throughout all plant operations with emphasis on sustainable development. Manage CI projects as assigned, typically within a local region or business unit. Perform gap analysis to identify deficiencies in business processes and programs and recommend adjustments as needed. Link process deficiencies directly to bottom line impact. Lead cross-functional project teams formed to implement change and drive continuous improvement. Drive mixed model value stream implementation projects with a focus on continuous improvement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Use appropriate problem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainable results. Ensure adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation, and reporting. Plan budget and manage costs related to operational excellence initiatives. Directly supervise, train, and mentor full-time CI assigned resources. Building project plan to CI projects, including resources, timeline, critical paths, etc. Manage diverse CI strategies for transactional and/or manufacturing operations. Participate in operational continuous improvement reviews with Local and/or Regional Management.
Key responsibilities: ✓ Prepare and present technical data for customer communications, ensure program conformance to TA and Customer Design Standards ✓ High level 1st hand information collection from customer side for internal team to have better strategic decision make ✓ Maintain customer partnership to satisfy customer by providing better engineering service and competitive product ✓ Participate product roadmap / portfolio and lead platform product iteration and product benchmark ✓ Lead POC / new technology (CN VII) program to improve product competitiveness ✓ Lead VAVE activities to improve product competitiveness ✓ Support commercial team to promote new product and next generation product ✓ Lead Layered project audit to make sure on-time conduct and NC closure ✓ Partnership building and maintenance with cross function team for better cooperation ✓ Identify resource gap and in-time escalation and find perform solution to solve the gap ✓ People development and management (incl.
