We are looking for a full-time ADA Accessibility Specialist to join our growing and fast-paced team. Accessibility specialists are the lifeblood of our operations in gathering crucial ADA barrier data and will work hand-in-hand with our Project Manager. An Accessibility Specialist should have a background in ADA-related fields. The ideal candidate is able to work independently and collaboratively, with a passion for accessibility and an eye for detail. We are looking for someone who thrives in the multi-dimensional, problem-solving environment of our industry.
Responsibilities
- Accessibility Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of physical spaces to identify potential barriers to accessibility. This includes facilities, public right-of-way, parks, and trails, to name a few.
- Compliance Guidance: Stay abreast of ADA and other accessibility regulations, providing guidance to project teams to ensure compliance in design, development, and implementation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accessibility assessments, compliance measures, and recommended improvements. Generate reports for clients to track progress and demonstrate commitment to accessibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with client staff and the rest of the AC team to integrate accessibility considerations seamlessly into capital improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Preferred: Experience in the ADA Field and background in ADA Regulations and Accessibility Standards
- Related Accessibility/ADA Licenses are a plus, but not required, including, but not limited to CAS p and RAS. (Training will be provided to the right candidate.)
- High School Diploma or GED required, Other degrees are a plus
- Software Experience is not required, but familiarity with Microsoft Office and GIS Software is a plus

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
