Position Overview
Arlo is in search of Personnel Security to support Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to support the personnel security badging office.

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors
- Oversee badging operations and online badging schedule. Greet personnel at badging office as necessary.
- Track badging office inventory (blank cards, cardholders, lanyards, printer supplies, etc.).
- Enroll new hires for HSPD-12 PIV Cards.
- Print HSPD-12 PIV Cards using on-site badge printer.
- Activate HSPD-12 PIV Cards.
- Add HSPD-12 PIV Cards to internal physical access control system (Identiv/Velocity).
- Provision access to buildings and suites on internal physical access control system.
- Perform digital certificate updates on HSPD-12 PIV Cards. Certificate updates may be performed remotely, when applicable.
- Troubleshoot issues with all credentialing equipment in conjunction with information technology staff and USAccess support services.
- Issue proximity badges for visitors and afterhours access.
- Appropriate disposal of returned HSPD-12 PIV Cards and other proximity badges.
- Add and remove staff access to the building entrances via FHFA Electronic Access Control System (Identiv/Velocity) and Constitution Center Security Operation Center.
- Activate temporary badging access.
- Perform database updates and clean-ups when instructed.
- Receipt and distribution of incoming mail/packages for security office.
- Prepare orientation materials and conduct employee orientation briefings.
- Provide badging office activity report, processes, guidelines, and agency communication on events related to personnel security.
Education and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in security.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Public Trust clearance highly desired
- Experience using GSA’s USAccess Credentialing System (or equivalent)
- Experience enrolling and activating applicants for HSPD-12 PIV cards.
- Experience scheduling PIV card appointments, maintaining PIV card inventory, and tracking documents.
- Experience troubleshooting routine PIV card issues.
- Experience adding and removing badging access to building spaces.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures related to HSPD-12 PIV card credentialing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
