Stark is searching for an experienced QC Rug Clerk to be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of inventory through various inspection and verification processes.

JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves conducting inspections, measurements, and maintaining standards to meet quality requirements. The individual must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Must pass color perception test.
1. Conduct new inventory inspections, including verification and documentation of items, and capturing photos for reference.
2. Perform stock inspections, take measurements, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
3. Conduct quality inspections (Quality 5) to verify compliance with established standards.
4. Request and verify standards for order verification purposes.
5. Identify and verify mislabeled or lost rolls using standards and website photos.
6. Maintain standard areas at 200 and 197 locations for consistent quality control.
7. Update spreadsheets as needed to document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
8. Work to reduce process cycle time for inspections to enhance efficiency.
9. Ability to identify defects and send email notification to the team.
10. Prioritize inspections strategically to minimize claims and ensure product quality.
11. Operate lift truck equipment efficiently and maintain certification.
12. Utilize Microsoft Office and Dancik software for documentation and reporting.
13. Perform other assigned tasks and duties as required
Work Environment:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 5 years of quality experience in the carpet and soft surfaces industry.
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
4. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and standard office tools.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Dancik software, ERP.
6. Superior time management, organizational, and priority-setting skills.
7. Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations with competing priorities.
8. Professionalism in approaching situations respectfully and tactfully.
9. Ability to work effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
9. Able to read a tape measure accurately and operate cuttable equipment efficiently.
10. Familiarity with defects in carpet and soft surfaces.
11. Successful completion of a Color Perception Test.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
13. Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and work in a physically demanding environment.
14. Cross-functional capabilities across the depts - Rug, cuttable, Supply and ability to work independently with initiative.
