Covelo Group is seeking Instructional Aides to join our Educational Services team for the remainder of the '23-'24 school year as well as the '24-25 school year!
As an Instructional Aide with Covelo, you will facilitate teachers’ lesson plans, provide small group instruction, lead educational activities, and provide individual classwork assistance as requested. You may also be asked to provide classroom support, including grading students’ assignments, making copies, organizing supplies, and performing regular clean-up duties. Your students will vary in age from grades K-12, as determined by the school district.

Primary Instructional Aide responsibilities include:
- Accompanying classes to lunch, recess, and specials, supervising students’ behavior, and ensuring orderly transitions.
- Reinforcing teachers’ instructions and expectations to facilitate a positive learning environment.
- Participating with certain students in prescribed PT, OT or SLP services in accordance with individual education plans (IEP) or 504 plans as needed.
Qualifications for this Instructional Aide position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college may be required.
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- BLS certification.
