Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance services
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Manage facility improvement projects from planning to completion
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
More specific duties:
-Responsible for coordinating all matters with the power supply company
-Responsible for the construction, installation, management, and operation of all power facilities such as strong and weak electricity, water, air supply, exhaust, etc. in the company
- Responsible for the construction, certification, use, and maintenance management of all building facilities in the factory area
-Responsible for factory fire protection construction, acceptance, certification, and daily operation and maintenance management
- Familiar with the hazards and environmental factors in the factory, and effectively control the hazards and environmental factors
-Participate in and maintain quality, safety, occupational health, and energy systems
- Responsible for the management of this position, regularly organizing inspections and rectifying non conformities
- Complete other tasks assigned by the department manager.
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
-Associate Degree or above, majoring in electrical/mechanical engineering, and having obtained the corresponding qualification certificate
-Three years or more of work experience in electrical maintenance and installation, with an electrician certificate
-Experience in civil construction, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, electrical welding, refrigeration operation, pressure vessel management, etc. is preferred
- Familiar with US electricity regulations and electricity safety related standards
- Has a team spirit and is able to endure hardship and hard work.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments
- Experience in technical sales to procure necessary equipment and services
- Welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
- Understanding of industrial maintenance practices
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Strong customer service orientation to address facility occupants' needs
- HVAC system knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to use an ammeter for electrical system diagnostics
