Education and Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development or any related field a plus
- Experience is highly preferred
- RBT certificate required
Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual is preferred (Mandarin, Spanish)
- Reliable Transportation,
- Valid driver's license, and auto insurance mandatory; Mileage paid
- Training provided
- Must be willing to drive approximately no more than 30 miles to a client's home
- Outgoing personality, self-starter, and organizational skills a plus
- Must pass a background check
- RBT certificate is a plus
- Current TB Test
Physical Requirement
- be able to lift 25+ lb
- able to run after child
- able to standup/sit down with the child
- able to be on the floor and play with the child
Responsibility
As a behavior technician, you will
- provide essential services by working with toddlers, children, and/or teens diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will be implementing behavioral plan developed bya BCBA.
- Work with children in their homes, helping them learn how to communicate, play and learn!
- Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts how to provide therapy to children and families in need of support
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
