As Sales Consultant focusing on the construction industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process. Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized sales records.
2. Lead Qualification: Assist in qualifying leads, conducting initial outreach, and gathering relevant information to pass on to the sales representatives.
3. Communication: Facilitate communication between the sales team and clients, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and requests.
4. Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the sales team members.
5. Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive information to support sales strategies.
6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information.
7. Sales Reporting: Generate reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and other relevant data as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with construction terminology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
