We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Clerk to join our client’s team in Redlands, CA. The E-Commerce Clerk will be responsible for assembling orders and preparing goods for shipment. This role includes managing shipment data, such as weight, charges, and space availability, and generating necessary reports on E-Commerce orders.
Duties:
- Prepare and distribute assignments for processing E-Commerce orders.
- Plan shipping schedules, manifesting, and loading, and maintain inventory accuracy and replenishment activities.
- Interface with the office regarding pick-up schedules, bill of lading preparation, and addressing various discrepancies.
- Communicate with carriers about pickup appointments, missed pickups, and other shipping issues.
- Correspond via email with internal customers and leadership about updates, discrepancies, document requests, and shipment changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of distribution center principles related to assigned tasks.
- Strong knowledge of freight, shipping, BOL (Bill of Lading), and order-picking methods.
- Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with Oracle being preferred.
Schedule and Pay:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
