Director of Production will oversee all aspects of production to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. This role requires a strategic leader with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. The Director of Production will collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvement and innovation in production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the production team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the production team.
- Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Production Planning & Control:
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
- Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality control systems, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Drive innovation in production methods, equipment, and technologies.
- Budget & Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and control production expenses, identifying areas for cost savings.
- Report on financial performance and production costs to senior management.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other departments, including R&D, supply chain, and sales, to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Communicate production status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in [industry].

Pay: $88,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
