Overview:
Do you have experience in Paving and parking lot maintenance? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the asphalt/concrete industry? If so, we have an opportunity for you! We are located in the Columbia/Midlands area, and we are seeking an experienced asphalt paving sales consultant to join our team. As an asphalt/concrete paving sales consultant, you will be responsible for determining scope of work, meeting with clients, and be responsible for proposal take offs. You will also coordinate with managers, and asphalt/concrete teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, be professional in front of clients, you need to have strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an asphalt paving sales consultant or related position, and work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess parking lots for pavement and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with project managers, and asphalt/concrete crews to gather necessary information for bids
- Utilize software tools to create estimates
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and bid results
Experience:
- Proven solid sales experience in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- A strong knowledge of asphalt paving materials, methods, and equipment
- A proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $81,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
