Position Description
Provides interventions to students to increase responsible behavior and reduce negative behavior including but not limited to small group and one-on-one interventions. Communicates with school administrator, students, parents, and other school personnel to build and implement a dedicated support system for the student.
Documents, maintains, analyzes, and discusses data with the school administrators and others to determine impact of the interventions.

Knowledge, SKILLS, and Qualifications
High School Diploma (required)
A minimum of two years’ relevant experience preferred.
Experience working with children in an elementary school setting. (preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to provide a good verbal speech and language model.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Computer skills in Microsoft Suite and or Google Suite.
Ability to analyze data.
Ability to collect and track data.

Physical ability to perform essential functions of this job successfully (requires standing, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, move quickly, lift, or move more than 50 lbs.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Supervise students and monitor their behavior.
Assist with investigations and participate in incident prevention.
Implement rules and regulations for proper conduct and behavior.
Patrol non-classroom areas like hallways, playground, cafeteria, and restrooms.
Monitor daily arrival and dismissal of the school day.
Intervene in fights and mediate disputes.
Collect behavior data and create reports on student behavior and irregularities.
Act as a chaperone on field trips.
Assist with student crisis intervention.
Cover lunch shifts.
Classroom coverage for emergency situations.
Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by principal, other school administration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
