Job Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:am to 2:30 pm
The Custodian is responsible for ensuring that the facility is maintained in a clean manner while performing any related cleaning duties. The custodian is also responsible to report any general facilities maintenance that may be required to their supervisor.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping scrubbing, and/or vacuuming them.

Clean windows and mirrors.

Gather and empty trash.

Clean and supply restrooms

Maintain cleaning chart indicting areas that were cleaned and inspected.

Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Notify their supervisor of the need for any facilities maintenance repairs, and any noted malfunctions to the building operating systems.

Organize janitorial storage areas

Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
-
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment

Steam clean or Shampoo carpets and rugs
-
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.

Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules

Ability to write clear statements and to communicate orally.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.

Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Previous custodian experience in an office environment preferred
