SUMMARY
Manages the complete post-contract logistics lifecycle of contracted events by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.
Manages in-house and third-party vendor event logistics in accordance with event plans, including venue setup, attendee assistance, catering, transportation, audiovisual and entertainment needs, and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Develops detailed Banquet Event Orders including event timelines and production schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within contracted budget.
Identifies potential risks for events and develops contingency plans.
Collaborates with Manager, Sales and Events and Manager, Campus Services to review daily events, business forecasts, coordinate labor support needs, and projects.
Conducts post-event evaluations to assess success measures and opportunities for improvements.
Performs accurate and timely administrative duties of invoices, event recaps, banquet checks, facility work orders, supply deliveries, and requisitions.
Collaborates with Shipping and Receiving Clerk to processes delivery of incoming event supplies prior to the start of the event, to include the appropriate standards for receiving and storing items such as conference packages.
Conducts daily and/or weekly walk-throughs to ensure furniture, fixtures, and equipment are in show condition.
Schedules and conducts quarterly inventory on all banquet equipment and ensures storage rooms are organized.
Ensures cleanliness and organization of event spaces, front of house and back of house, and transform spaces to original layout when not in use.
Stays current with industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of event services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.S.) in Food Service or Hospitality or related field and at least two years’ experience in managing company food and beverage catering; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
